Two hundred and fourteen Ghungroo piglets were used for observing the dentition pattern at pig farm complex of NRC on pig (ICAR), Rani, Guwahati which were of almost same gestational age and managemental practice. Oral examination was performed on each piglet every three days till the attainment of age of 1 month and every week till the attainment of, age of 4 months. All piglets had their 8 needle teeth (i_3, j~3, c_1 c~1) erupted at birth. Guilts were found to have significantly (P<0.05) earlier eruption than barrows for all the deciduous teeth except P_3. All deciduous incisors and premolars erupt by 120 days. The pattern of dentition can be documented by the end of 120 days of age in Ghungroo piglets.
