Bacterial Isolates from the Lung Lesions in Marek's Disease and Lymphoid Leucosis in the Chicken

In this study, the isolates were collected from 63 lung samples showing various lesions concurrently with Marek's disease and lymphoid leucosis, which yielded 17 Escherichia coli, 14 Staphylococcus aureus and 4 Streptococcus spp. isolates. The culture and sensitivity studies showed that most of the isolates were sensitive to gentamicin and chloramphenicol and resistance to a wide range of antibacterials.
