City and County Health Organization Undertakes Project To Enhance Epidemiology and Surveillance Capacity At The Local Level Current Epidemiology Capacity Considered A 'Black Box'

A new cooperative agreement between the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) has been launched to increase the capacity of local health departments to obtain and use health related data.
