摘要

An experiment was conducted in New Delhi, India, between November 2004 and January 2005 to evaluate the performance of P. chrysosporium and cellulolytic bacterium as an activator of rice straw composting process. Rice straw amended with poultry manure (12.5% w/w) or urea (O.5%) was composted in open pits. A co-inoculum of P. chrysosporium MTCC787/P. chrysosporium NCIM 1073 and Cellulomonas cellulans MTCC23 was used. Compost samples were analysed for organic matter, humus content and C:N ratio at monthly intervals for 3 months. The highest humus content was recorded after the third month of composting. Organic matter and C:N ratio for the rice straw compost was within permissible limits for use in field crops.
