Stabilized thioxophosphine sulfides bearing the 4-t-butyl-2,6-bis(dialkylaminomethyl)phenyl or the 2,4-di-t-butyl-6-(dialkylaminomethyl)phenyl group, as well as their ~(15)N labeled analogs, were prepared. Intramolecular interaction between the nitrogen and the phosphorus atoms was investigated, mainly by means of ~(31)P NMR and ~1H NMR spectroscopic studies.
