For real world applications such as safe intelligence cars and service robots for homes, development of special high-performance processors, which can carry out-processing of the enormous quantity of input data at high speed, is important. In real world applications, orbit prediction predicting what kind of orbital movement object will take in the future becomes an important basic technology. Let's consider about a system that predicts the orbit of a moving ball and catches it, as an example of the orbit prediction system. Such a system becomes the foundation for making practical a ball game robot and so on. Since the system that catches a ball performs high-accuracy prediction of ball position, it is necessary for the system to acquire as much information on 3D positions of the ball as possible. An enormous amount of calculation time is necessary for ball extraction, which is basic to the processing mentioned.
