A research group at School of Engineering, Nagoya University, has succeeded in measuring micro vibrations of scalp that undergo change in accordance with cerebral activities of the brain, such as sleep and emotion of memory, by putting a unique high-sensitivity micro accelerating sensor on the forehead. By this method, vibration waves corresponding to specific emotions like that under rest, during mental arithmetic, or when recalling sad memories, were obtained.
