With over 230,000 units sold since its introduction in 1996, a market share of around 20 per cent in Western Europe and customers in 98 countries worldwide, the Mercedes-Benz Actros heavy truck has been a real success story. Now a new model Actros, announced at the IAA International Commercial Vehicle Show in Frankfurt last October, is about to enter series production.
