Golar GenPower to Buy LNG from ExxonMobile

Norwegian shipping firm Golar LNG announced on March 4th (local time in Norway) that it would buy LNG fromExxonMobil through a joint venture company between its subsidiary and Brazil’s GenPower. The Joint venture companyGolar GenPower Brazil Participacoes S.A. signed a framework agreement with ExxonMobil Titan LNG Ltd, a subsidiaryof Exxon Mobil Corporation for the supply of LNG to the natural gas fired power generation project, which is beingdeveloped in Sergipe.
