Bathurst Resources of Australia completed acquisition of the Brookdale undeveloped metallurgical coal mining lot in New Zealand on 21st. The Brookdale is the undeveloped mining lot in the Buller coal field on the west coast of the South Island, and is located next to the developing Escarpment mining lot in the Buller project which Bathurst is proceeding with in that coal field.
