Golar LNG to Participate in FLNG Project in Equatorial Guinea

It has been decided that Norwegian shipping firm Golar LNG Limited participates in floating LNG productionproject offshore Equatorial Guinea. “OneLNG” a joint venture between subsidiaries of Golar LNG and the U.S.-basedSchlumberger, the world’s leading provider of technology for reservoir characterization, drilling, production, and processingto the oil and gas industry, has signed a binding Shareholders’ Agreement to acquire 66.2% interest in the project withOphir Holdings & Venture Ltd (Ophir), a wholly owned subsidiary of Ophir Energy plc, an oil and gas explorationcompany based in London.
