ACP Strives to Put New Panama Canal into Operation in April 2016

The Panama Canal Authority (ACP) is currently proceeding with the expansion work of the Panama Canal, which is scheduled to go on stream on April 1st 2016. Persons of ACP visited the Japanese Shipowners’ Association and explained about the state of progress. The ACP is finalizing the tolls structure, which will be adopted after the new canal is placed into service, so that it could make an announcement on the new tolls structure in April or at the beginning of May.
