Coal exports from Queensland still remain in slump as ever. Due to outbreak of intermittent concentrated heavy rainfalls during January-February, opencut mines, railways, ports and so on all underwent damages, of which flood over railway caused especially serious damage. Since the complete restoration of the railway is expected to take minimum one to two months time, coal exports of this state would not recover so easily within a short period of time even though days of fair weather continue for long time.
