Major Metallurgical Coal Project in South Africa

Makhad project aims to exploit Makhad mining area, an unexplored surface mining area in the northern part of the Limpopo Province, and ship hard coking coal (Makhad hard coking coal) produced at this mining area to the South African domestic market and the international export market. Coal of Africa Limited (CoAL), Australia has a 100% interest in this project.
