CCP Carrying On Demonstration By IGCC Until March 2013-Expansion test for increase the types of thermal coal to be conducted in FY 2010-

It has turned out that Clean Coal Power R&D Co., Ltd (CCP) has been carrying on the demonstration test by its Integrated Coal Gasification Combined Cycle (IGCC) demonstration facility by the fiscal year 2012 (end of March 2013). The demonstration burning at IGCC demonstration facility had been expected to be completed within the fiscal year 2009 (till March 2010), but utilization of the facilities for technology of Carbon Dioxide Capture and Storage (CCS) has been decided upon which put off the demonstration period by another one year period till the fiscal year 2010 (end of March 2011).
