JX Nippon Oil and Energy Corporation announced on December 9th that it has established its lubricant production company PT. JX Nippon Oil & Energy Lubricants Indonesia in Indonesia. The new company is a joint venture with PT. Andalan Dunia Semesta Group, JX Energy's sales agent for lubricant, with production capacity of about 40,000 KL per year. JX Energy is scheduled to start its operations in March 2012. Japan's biggest refiner holds 80% interest, while Andalan Group 20% interest of the company.
