NEB of Canada Approves Export License Applied by LNG Canada

The National Energy Board (NEB) of Canada announced on January 7th (local time in Canada) that it approvedan application for a 40-year natural gas export license submitted by LNG Canada Development Inc. This is the first timefor a 40-year natural gas export license to be approved since the National Energy Board Act was amended in June 2015.The license will be officially authorized after the provincial legislature’s approval.
