Idemitsu’s Naphtha Imports to Increase by about 300,000 tpy

Idemitsu Kosan Company plans to increase its import of light and full-range naphtha by about 300,000 mt per year. The naphtha cracker (623,000 tpy) it operates at Tokuyama Plant had been processing naphtha of which 70% was from abroad with the balance from the adjacent Tokuyama Refinery until the refinery’s topper (120,000 barrels per day) closed down at the end of March 2014.
