U.S. Excelerate Energy Applies For LNG Export License To DOE

The United Sates Excelerate Energy Limited, which has a project to produce and export LNG at its floating liquefaction facility, filed an application with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), seeking authority to export LNG to the countries with which the U.S. have free trade agreements (FTAs). The company is requesting permission to export up to 10 million tons per year of LNG over 20 years.
