Only One LNG Cargo Arrives in Japan from Atlantic Basin in July

According to the preliminary LNG import statistics for July, which was released by the Ministry of Finance onAugust 30th, only one LNG cargo arrived from Atlantic basin in July that was received at Niigata port on the Japan Seacoast of the central Japan. A cargo of about 63,000 MT was imported from Egypt at the high US$6s/MMBTU. Thereceiving volume sharply declined from the previous month when four cargoes of about 263,000 MT were imported fromAtlantic basin.
