Patriot Coal to Divest Assets to Blackhawk Mining

On June 3 local time, Patriot Coal Corporation, a coal mining company in the U.S. made clear its intention to divestall the operating assets to Blackhawk Mining LLC.As reported earlier, Patriot Coal filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on May 12, and is going to proceedwith the sellout of the said assets under Chapter 11 protection. Even when the procedure for sellout of assets is ongoing,the operation of respective coal mines and the coal shipment will be taking place.
