Australian Woodside to Participate in U.S. Port Arthur LNG Project

Australia-based Woodside is expected to participate in Port Arthur Liquefaction Project, a LNG production projectin the United States. On June 4th, the Company announced that it has entered into a non-biding Memorandum of Understanding(MOU) with Sempra LNG, an affiliate of Sempra Energy, which has developed the project, with a view tostarting preliminary discussions. In the process of developing the project, both companies are expected to establish a jointventure or partnership.
