Anglo American to Sell 4 Coal Mines Including Dawson Complex

Anglo American plc has recently made clear its intention to sell Dawson Complex and Foxleigh coal mine which are an existing coal mine in the State of QLD. In light of the long-term doldrums of the coal export market, the Company will sell the interests in Dawson Complex and Foxleigh coal mine for the purpose of restructuring a coal export business in Australia. Anglo American has a 51% interest in Dawson Complex and a 70% interest in Foxleigh coal mine.
