The Innovative Plastics business unit of Sabic has launched a custom-colourable variant of its LNP Thermocomp polycarbon-ate/acrylonitrile-buta-diene-styrene (PC/ABS) thermoplastic compound for processing by laser direct structuring (LDS).LDS is a process for integrating electronic and mechanical functionality into a single module - for instance mobile phone and notebook computer antennas.
