INTRODUCTION: Ablative skin therapy generally seeks to remove the outer layers of the skin in hopes of stimulating new skin growth. Non-ablative techniques seek to stimulate growth without damaging the outer layers of the skin. There is now a new generation of skin care products dedicated to using this latter method to nourish and thicken the cellular layer.
