Fabric coater expands

Reeves Brothers Inc. has purchased the calendered products business of Fairprene Inc. to expand its production of rubber-coated fabrics and urethanes. The acquisition, for an undisclosed amount, includes Fairprene's entire calen-dered product line and some processing machinery, according to Scott Dempsey, vice president and general manager of Reeves Brothers' Engineered Fabrics Group.
