KINGSPAN SPENDS $164 M TO BUY CRN'S INSULATION BUSINESS

Cavan, Republic of Ireland - Insulation producer Kingspan is to spend ?120 million ($164 million) to acquire the European insulation units of CRH plc, an international building materials group. CRH put the business up for sale earlier this year, and will sell most of its insulation assets -whose polyurethane products are sold under the Ecotherm name -to Kingspan.
