Fridge maker Homa to build new 3.5m unit/year plant

Zhongshan, Guangdong Guangdong Homa Appliances, China's largest fridge exporter by volume, said it plans to build a sixth plant here with 3.5m unit/year capacity, including over 1 m freezers/year. The new facilities will give Homa a 11 m unit/year total capacity when the project is completed and the company has produced 30m refrigerators by the end of 2013.
