While epoxy resins are the first choice for many composites uses, polyurethanes may benefit from the fact that many resin suppliers offer both materials. Another positive factor is that machinery suppliers offer equipment for both epoxy resins and polyurethanes. For Italy's Cannon Croup, composites is "an area of huge development," said Alberto Zarantonello, general manager of Cannon Afros.
