Tianjin, China - BASF's polyurethanes division is building a systems unit in Jianjin, northern China. The unit is planned to be in operation by 2012, the German firm said in a 27 Sept statement.BASF already has a systems unit in Chongqing, in western China, along with system houses and development centres in Shanghai and Nansha, giving the firm a service network extending to all geographical corners of China, the statement added.
