Rogers opens China unit

Rogers Corp., a developer and manufacturer of speciality materials for the transporta-tion/automotive, consumer, imaging, communications and computer markets, has established a unit to make polyure-thane-based items in the People's Republic of China. It has also leased a second building in the Suzhou Industrial Park, a town about 100 km west of Shanghai. This will come into operation in March next year, making floats based on nitrile rubber for use in liquid level sensing and monitoring equipment.
