QUINN GROUP TO BUILD WELSH POLYURETHANE INSULATION PLANT

Cardiff-Quinn Group plans to invest pound 66.75 million (131.4 million) in a 74 500 m~2 plant in Newport,Wales,to produce polyurethane insulation products for the building industry.The investment will create 340 jobs in Newport and is the second major investment in the area by the group in the last two years,said a 1 June statement on the investment,issued by the Welsh Assembly.Quinn's existing plant at Newport is used by another business unit to make domestic radiators.
