Construction of 80 kt/a Epichlorohydrin Project in Shandong Zhanhua

The construction of an 80 kt/a epichlorohydrin project has been kicked off in the Zhanhua Economic Opening Zone in Shandong. This project is to be constructed by the Zhonghai Specialty Chemicals Company, which is a unit jointly set up by the Dongying Zhonghai Petrochemical Company, Ltd. and the Zhanhua Haiming Chemical Company. It is planned to invest 800 million RMB in this project, which is slated for completion and startup by the end of 2007.
