Vladimir Makukha became head of the Ministry of economy of August of present year. He used to be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Japan, earlier he held the offices of deputy head of directorate of the Ministry of economy, first secretary - advisor for economic issues of the Embassy of Ukraine to the USA, head of directorate for economic cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as deputy minister of foreign affairs. The UMR correspondent has spoken to Mr. Makukha about present economic state in Ukraine, development prospect, social policy of the government, and integration processes.
