US mills continued an up-tempo push to diversify mixes and blends of furnish as prices again increased sequentially on old corrugated containers (OCC), office paper (OP), and sorted (postconsumer) white ledger (SWL).Conversely, pricing for pulp substitutes and old newspapers (ONP) mostly held or declined in several regions - and appeared under pressure to fall in July.Still, some contacts expected mid-month price premiums and increases on some grades, leading up to the Fourth of July weekend.
