Lack of supply drives another export OCC rise

Exported US old corrugated containers (OCC) rose again in the last week, by $5-10/ton reaching an FAS top level of $155/ ton at the major Long Beach, CA, port, and traders were speculating up the level to $160/ton. The OCC to a main port in China was $195/tonne C1F yesterday with a good possibility of $200/tonne by today or Monday, according to contacts.
