Just six of Top 100 firms globally earned 10% or more on ROCE last year

A drastic global paper and board demand downturn that erupted in September caused net income to tumble from $13.8 billion in 2007 to a record $8 billion loss last year for the top 100 forest, paper, and packaging companies, according to a PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) survey. The $8 billion loss was the worst and the first negative one since PwC started the survey in 1996.
