Neenah Paper exits market pulp; private equity-backed newcomer enters the sector

Neenah Paper on Thursday divested its last market pulp mill to a partnership of two private equity firms, completing the last step of its transition from a commodity-based pulp and paper producer to a specialty fine papers company. The deal also establishes a new market pulp player: Northern Pulp Nova Scotia Corp.
