Until recently, mid-market mills were the "Rodney Dangerfields" of the paper industry when it came to recognition from major software vendors - we just got no respect.However, with the saturation of markets among the larger players and the economic downturn, things are beginning to change. At Interstate Resources, I now regularly receive unsolicited calls from vendors who, just a year-and-a-half ago, had little interest in speaking with me, frequently responding to my request for proposal (RFP) with a cryptic "no bid."
