Responsible Care has not had much success generating better relations with organized labor particularly in the U.S.The Paper, Allied-Industrial, Chemical, and Energy Workers International Union (PACE; Nashville), an afiliate union of the International Federation of Chemical, Energy, Mine, and General Workers' Union (ICEM; Brussels), has been at loggerheads with chemical manufacturers over several environment, health, and safety (EH&S), and security issues during the past year.
