Random copolymer polypropylenes

Random copolymer polypropylenes from Equistar and Borealis are challenging PET in some applications. One of the first to use such new resins is Pechiney Plastic Packaging. Equistar has developed the new 'Petrothene' PP33HF04 resin as a less-expensive alternative to PET for applications where a good balance between clarity and toughness is necessary.
