BASF Confirms Antwerp Cracker Expansion

BASF has confirmed CWs exclusive report that it will expand its Antwerp steam cracker (CW,Aug.3,p.14).The company says it will add 280,000 m.t./year of ethylene capacity that will raise the total there to 1.08 million m.t./year,making it the largest single-train cracker in Europe.
