Polyester prices increase as oil prices soar

THE increasing crude oil prices in the international market are having an adverse impact on the polyester industry worldwide.The contract prices of synthetic raw materials like PTA/DMT,MEG and polyester chips have increased substantially.The PTA,which was quoted around 600 per tonne,has increased to 750-780 per tonne in the last one year.
