Indian companies increase green packaging usage

INDIA - More Indian companies have shifted to eco-friendly packaging in response to increasing consumer environmental awareness and preference for greener packaging, according to a recent study.Conducted by the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (Assocham), the study indicated that the sustainable packaging sector is growing at an average rate of 25% every year as against the 20% annual growth posted by the packaging industry as a whole.
