High technology helps Swiss and Austrian moulding markets stay buoyant

DESPITE the stagnant European economy, the injection moulding markets in Switzerland and Austria have remained resilient thanks to being home to some of the most technically advanced companies in Europe, as per Applied Market Information (AMI). Switzerland has a well developed injection moulding sector with a particular strength in serving niche markets including the electrical, technical and medical sectors. In Austria a high proportion of moulders supply the automotive industry and produce technical components for the electrical sector.
