MUNICH-based KraussMaffei AG has rolled out a smaller-sized press in its MX two-platen line - an MX with 650 metric tons of clamping force.Up until now, the smallest MX press was an 850-tonne machine.KM is pitching the "MX 650+" size as a high-performance machine for packaging, since it can accommodate high-cavitation molds and heave molds. The press has injection speeds of up to 700 millimeters a second.
