New PET masterbatch compounding line starts up in Belgium / 'Significant increase' in production capacity

In order to meet rising demand for customised food packaging solutions, A. Schulman (Akron, Ohio / USA; www.aschulman. com) has added a new PET compounding line at its master-batch plant in Bornem / Belgium. Financial details of the investment were not disclosed, neither was nameplate capacity, although the company said the added output "will significantly increase" its yearly PET production capacity.
