Operators Urged to Ensure Excavation Work Performed With Safeguards to Avoid Damage

Gas and liquid pipeline operators should ensure that only qualified pipeline personnel perform excavation work and that they use process safeguards to avoid damaging pipelines,the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration said in a notice published Jan.17(71 Fed.Reg.2,613).
