China's March coal import down 40.7% on-year

China imported 9.05 million mt of coal in March, down 40.7% on-year, according to trade figures from China Customs. Of that, anthracite represented 2.09 million mt, down 13.2%; coking coal accounted for 2.93 million mt, down 13.2% on-year; and thermal coal represented 1.74 million mt, down 67.9% on-year.
