BP-Rosneft JV makes new find off Sakhalin

Moscow-BP and Rosneft have made a second oil discovery at the Sakhalin 5 acreage offshore Sakhalin Island in the Russian Far East,the companies said Oct 7.The second exploratory well at the Kaigansky-Vasuykansky block drilled by Elvary Neftegas,a BP-Rosneft joint venture,flowed at 1,900 b/d in tests,the companies said.
